- Project Description:
Fifth grade students at Lincoln Elementary are researching the effects of dams in our area. This includes the environmental impact, enery production, and irrigation supply created by the dams. We will be taking a field trip to McNary Dam, but would like students to learn more about the environmental effects and energy production aspects. The culminating activity will be to write to a representative to express thier views on either creating more dams or removing dams. This project will conclude on May 15th, so any assistance before that time will be greatly appreciated.
