You can get directly involved in science education with a short-term and memorable experience at the county science fair. Volunteer to be a judge at the Contra Costa Science and Engineering Fair at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg in March. The fair is for students in grades 7-12 and covers every major area of science, including mathematics, psychology, biology, physics, astronomy, chemistry, and more.

It is an Intel Science and Engineering Fair - affiliated fair, which means the winners go on to compete at the International Science Fair later this year. We can use all the help we can get. Please consider volunteering.
