- Community Resources for Science connects and engages educators, scientists, and students in a vibrant and innovative web of science learning. CRS weaves connections between the needs of individual teachers and the existing resources in our community, providing information and individualized support to classroom teachers, and recruiting, preparing and placing scientist volunteers in K-8 classrooms to present standards-based, hands-on science experiences for students.

- BiotechEd.com contains a variety of resources for new and experienced biotechnology educators including more than 30 PowerPoint® presentations to assist with starting and implementing biotechnology programs. Other resources include biotechnology professional development opportunities, free classroom activities, and strategies for funding, equipment, and supplies.

- Biotech Partners helps youth from populations underrepresented in the sciences navigate the worlds of work, school and life through a biotechnology-focused curriculum, including job training and paid internships, that provides access to well-paid fulfilling careers in bioscience and increases opportunities for higher education. BP’s unique mission specifically targets minority, low-income and female youth, many of whom may be academically challenged due to a lack of direction, positive role modeling or belief that they can access and succeed in a professional environment. BP serves students at both the high school and community college levels.

- Brain Facts is a 74-page primer on the brain and nervous system, published by SfN. Designed for a lay audience as an introduction to neuroscience, Brain Facts is also a valuable educational resource used by high school teachers and students who participate in Brain Awareness Week. The 2008 edition updates all sections and includes new information on brain development, learning and memory, language, neurological and psychiatric illnesses, potential therapies, and more.
